Yard Waste

The Town's contractor will collect yard waste and leaves generated by single family residential units inside the corporate limits of the Town that meeting the following criteria: 

1. Limbs shall be cut in no more than six-foot lengths, with a maximum diameter of five inches
2. Limbs and bundles shall not weigh more than 50 pounds
3. Multiple brush piles shall have 12 inches of separation between piles
4. Loose grass and leaves shall be put into a closed container. 

All yard waste shall be put at the curb on Monday of the designated collection week.  Yard waste will be collected once per week.  Crews will start collection on Monday morning, weather permitting, and move through the route until it is completed.  If crews have already passed your residence, it will be the following week before yard waste is collected.  No special trips will be made. 

Loose Leaf Collection

Between October 15 and January 15 each each year the Town's yard waste contractor will collect loose leaves at the curb with its leaf vacuum machine.
